Airport Transfers
  • London Gateways: Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and central London. When you book your tour with Trafalgar your transfers to and from the airport are included. It''s that simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your airport and Central London.
  • Important – Please Note: Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
  • You are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
  • Flights are either booked by Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
  • Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.

  • Heathrow Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-21.30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by coach.   • Day 2- Arrive Catania – Taormina (3 nights) On arrival at Catania Airport you are met and transferred to your hotel in Taormina. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Drink and dinner with your Tour Director and fellow travellers. (Dinner)

  • Day 3 - Taormina Orientation and at leisure Today we will discover a Hidden Treasure! But first we explore Taormina, founded in 400 BC, and beautifully located overlooking the sea and the peak of Mount Etna. We see the Greek Theatre and the glorious sub-tropical terraced gardens before strolling along elegant Corso Umberto to the Piazza for splendid panoramic views across the bay to the Ionian Sea. Later, enjoy free time perhaps to shop for handmade lace on the Corso. (Buffet Breakfast)


  • Day 4 - Syracuse Excursion This morning we enjoy an included excursion to Syracuse, known as the ‘Greek city’, where the local guide, using the audio system, shows us the archeological excavations including the Greek Theatre, the so-called Ear of Dionysius and the Roman amphitheatre. In the afternoon we visit the Ortigia Island, the historical centre of Syracuse. Later we return to Taormina to enjoy dinner in a local restaurant. (Buffet Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)


  • Day 5 - Taormina – Enna – Piazza Armerina – Agrigento First we view the fortress town of Enna before visiting Piazza Armerina to seethe splendid mosaics, which cover almost the entire floor in the Roman Villa of Casale. On arrival in Agrigento our local guide takes us to visit the Valley of the Temples, considered the finest Greek sanctuary in Sicily, rivalling those of Athens in their Grecian grandeur! Here we see both the impressive Temple of Concord and the Temple of Juno, overlooking the sea. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

  • Day 6 - Agrigento – Selinunte – Palermo (2 nights) This morning we drive to Selinunte to visit the Dorian Temples and the Acropolis. Then on to Erice to visit the castle gardens before reaching Palermo, the vibrant historic Sicilian capital.(Buffet Breakfast)

  • Day 7 - Palermo Sightseeing and at leisure Our morning guided sightseeing tour, using the audio equipment, takes us to Piazza Bellini and the Cathedral. Later we stop to view the Conca d’Oro from Monreale where we visit the 12th century Norman Cathedral. Finally we visit the fishing village of Mondello before time at leisure to explore or shop. Tonight,
    we get together with our travelling companions and Tour Director for a festive Farewell Dinner with wine in a local restaurant. (Buffet Breakfast / Farewell Dinner)


  • Day 8 Palermo – USA Farewell to Sicily as we are accompanied by our Tour Director to Palermo Airport for our return flights. (Buffet Breakfast)


  • Christmas & New Year''s Eve Highlights Tour departures 21 Dec will be accommodated in Agrigento over Christmas and tour departure 29 Dec will be accommodated in Taormina on New Year’s Eve giving you the opportunity to celebrate in true Sicilian style.
