Day 4 - Sydney sightseeing

Day 5 - Sydney at leisure

Day 6 - Sydney - Alice Springs
We board our flight to Alice Springs. On arrival we enjoy a guidedtour including the School of the Air, which provides an educationalservice for children living in remote areas. Then see the originalsite of Alice Springs at the historic Telegraph Station. Visit theRoyal Flying Doctor Service followed by a panoramic view of thetown and surrounding West MacDonnell Ranges from Anzac Hilllookout. This evening we will enjoy a Welcome Drink with our TourDirector and fellow traveling companionswhen we travel out to a genuine Aussie outback homestead,Ooraminna, to enjoy a ''Be My Guest'' dinner with the Hayesfamily. Watch the first rays of dawn setUluõu and the Red Centre alight. We travel by coach to KuniyaPiti, an Aboriginal sacred site at the base of Uluõu (AyersRock). Your guide will escort you on a walk to the MuúitjuluWaterhole, pointing out the natural features of the landscape,Aboriginal rock paintings and traditional Aboriginal storiesrelating to this special place. Visit the Uluõu - KataTjuúa Cultural Centre. This afternoon travel to KataTjuúa(the Olgas), 36 massive domes of red conglomerate rock. Thewalking trail through the Waïpa Gorge follows the naturalcreek between two of the domes. Later we enjoy complimentarysparkling wine as we watch the sunset at Kata Tjuúa (theOlgas). Day 9 - Ayers Rock - Cairns (3 nights)

Day 11 - Cairns at leisure
Enjoy a full day at leisure in the tropical city of Cairns. Return to the lowlands by the Skyrail Cablewayabove the Barron Gorge National Park, a beautiful experience. Visitthe award-winning Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. 9 or more: If 9 or more people travel together, we offer attractive group discounts based on how many people travel. In a group of 9 passengers, 1 traveller qualifies for a 50% discount off the LAND-only portion of the tour. In a group of 16 passengers, 1 traveller qualifies for 100% discount off the LAND-only portion of the tour.
Please note: Space is limited to one group per motorcoach. Share a Room and Save!
When travelling alone, we understand that some clients do not want to incur the expense of an additional single room supplement. With this in mind, on the majority of our itineraries, Trafalgar offers you the opportunity to purchase these tours on a room-sharing basis. We will accommodate you with a fellow passenger of the same gender on a ‘two-bedded’ basis (non-smoking rooms only). Please note that, regrettably, we cannot guarantee that room mates will be of a similar age group. Even so, it is an enjoyable way to travel and get to make new friends, and a positive way to stretch your holiday budget. If we fail to match you, we will provide a single room at no extra cost.
