We drive south into France and the Alsatian town of Nancy. Then weclimb to Baccarat in the Vosges Mountains, renowned for its crystalglass, and on to the charming wine village of Riquewihr. Day 6 - Lucerne sightseeing and at leisure

Day 7 - Lucerne - Liechtenstein - Innsbruck
First to Vaduz, the capital of tiny Liechtenstein, with time toshop for collectors'' stamps. Then to Austria, through the Arlbergregion to Innsbruck, the Tyrolean capital. Day 8 - Innsbruck - Venice
Over the Brenner Pass to the Italian border and on to magicalVenice.
