Day 5 - Amsterdam - Rhine Cruise - Rhineland
Morning orientation in Amsterdam includes Dam Square and the Towerof Tears. Later, we drive past Arnhem into Germany and stop inCologne to see its gothic cathedral. Then after passing Bonn, weembark on a relaxing Rhine cruise past castles and vineyards. Wedisembark in St. Goar with views of the Lorelei Rock beforereaching our Rhineland hotel for the night. Day 6 - Rhineland - Munich - Innsbruck
Today we cross the Swabian Uplands to Bavarian Munich. Here anorientation tour shows us the Olympic Stadium and Marienplatz withits Glockenspiel. Next we drive to Austria and the Tyrolean capitalInnsbruck. On our arrival an orientation tour shows us the GoldenRoof and St. Jakob''s cathedral. This evening, we enjoy dinner inour hotel. Day 9 - Vienna - Venice (2 nights)
Today we drive into the heart of the Austrian Alps past mountainsand small picturesque towns to the Austrian Lake District. Then wecontinue over the Italian border, where the spectacular Carnic Alpseventually give way to the flat fertile plains of the Venetoregion. Soon we arrive in magical Venice where we stay for the nexttwo nights. Tonight, after dinner, maybe take the opportunity toexplore Venice by night? Day 10 - Venice sightseeing and at leisure

Day 12 - Rome sightseeing and at leisure

Then time at leisure to relax in asidewalk café or take an optional excursion to visit thecatacombs, or the Vatican museums and the magnificent SistineChapel. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 13 - Rome - Florence
We drive through the Chianti wine region of Tuscany en route toRenaissance Florence. Our guided walking tour shows us thecathedral, the baptistery, Signoria Square and we visit Santa CroceBasilica.
