Day 3 - London sightseeing & at leisure
Many major sights are included on our morning sightseeing tour,then time is your own. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 4 - London - Paris (2 nights)
First we drive to Dover for our Channel crossing to France. Then wesee the Vimy Ridge Memorial en route to the glittering capital cityof Paris, where we enjoy a Welcome Drink with our Tour Director andfellow travelers. (Continental breakfast) Hotel: Pullman La Defense
Day 5 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure
Morning sightseeing with a local guide includes a drive along theChamps Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe and on to theEiffel Tower, to ascend to the second level. Next we have views ofNotre Dame Cathedral and then we are free to explore thisenchanting city further or perhaps to take an excursion to the vastLouvre Museum to see the enigmatic Mona Lisa. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 6 - Paris - Lucerne
An early start today as we drive through the Burgundy vineyards,seeing the Castle of Châteauneuf. We continue past the remainsof the Maginot Line at Belfort to reach the Swiss border at Baseland on to the lakeside resort of Lucerne where orientation shows usthe wooden Chapel Bridge and the poignant Lion Monument. Afterdinner, perhaps take a walk along the lakeshore. (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner) Hotel: Grand Europe
Day 7 - Lucerne - Venice
The St. Gotthard highway takes us past Alpine peaks and on to theItalian border at Chiasso. We glimpse Lake Como and skirt aroundMilan before continuing to the magical city of Venice. (Buffetbreakfast / Dinner) Hotel: Antony
Day 8 - Venice - Florence
This morning our canal cruise takes us to St. Mark''s Square wherewe see the Bridge of Sighs and the Doge''s Palace. We see aglass-blowing demonstration and have time to explore before drivingacross the Apennines to the Renaissance city of Florence. (Buffetbreakfast / Dinner) Hotel: Nil Hotel
Day 9 - Florence - Rome (2 nights)
Our guided walking tour shows us the cathedral, the baptistery,Giotto''s Bell tower, Signoria Square and visits Santa Croce Church,where so many great Italians are buried including Michelangelo.Then time to shop for leather and gold, but also our Tour Directorshows us a Hidden Treasure before we travel on to the ''EternalCity'', Rome. Day 10 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure
Today on our guided sightseeing tour we visit St. Peter''s Basilicain the Vatican where we see the famous Pieta by Michelangelo. Thenwe cross the Tiber to ancient Rome where we overlook the Forum andsee the mighty Colosseum and the Circus Maximus where the chariotraces took place. Tonight we enjoy a Farewell Dinner together withour Tour Director and new-found friends. (Buffet breakfast /Farewell dinner)
Day 11 - Rome - USA
''Buon viaggio'' to our touring friends as our tour of Europe comesto an end. Airport transfers are available, conditions apply.(Buffet breakfast)

5 or more – Save 5%: If a group of 5-8 people travels together, a discount of 5% per person applies to the LAND-only portion of your tour. So it pays to get together with your family and friends!
9 or more: If 9 or more people travel together, we offer attractive group discounts based on how many people travel. In a group of 9 passengers, 1 traveller qualifies for a 50% discount off the LAND-only portion of the tour. In a group of 16 passengers, 1 traveller qualifies for 100% discount off the LAND-only portion of the tour.
Please note: Space is limited to one group per motorcoach. These discounts are not combinable with our Travel Club Discount, any other rooming, young traveller or triple room discounts, and do not apply to our City Breaks, Greek Tours with Mediterranean cruises, Egypt, Israel, and extra night accommodation. Share a Room and Save!
When travelling alone, we understand that some clients do not want to incur the expense of an additional single room supplement. With this in mind, on the majority of our itineraries, Trafalgar offers you the opportunity to purchase these tours on a room-sharing basis. We will accommodate you with a fellow passenger of the same gender on a ‘two-bedded’ basis (non-smoking rooms only). Please note that, regrettably, we cannot guarantee that room mates will be of a similar age group. Even so, it is an enjoyable way to travel and get to make new friends, and a positive way to stretch your holiday budget. If we fail to match you, we will provide a single room at no extra cost.
