Day 3 - London - Runnymede - Stonehenge - Salisbury - Plymouth
We drive to Runnymede where the Magna Carta was signed and thencatch a glimpse of Windsor Castle. We continue on to Stonehengebefore we have views of Salisbury Cathedral with the tallest spirein the UK. Finally we arrive in the naval port of Plymouth where wewill enjoy a Welcome Drink and dinner with our Tour Director andfellow travelers. (Continential breakfast / Dinner) Hotel: Jurys Inn

Day 4 - Plymouth - Tintagel - Clovelly - Bideford
Our first stop today is in Tintagel where we see the ruined castle.Then we follow the coast to Clovelly with its steep cobbled streetsand picturesque cottages before arriving in the ancient seaport ofBideford. (Full breakfast / Dinner) Hotel: Durrant House

Day 5 - Bideford - Bath - Stratford-upon-Avon
We drive to Glastonbury where we visit the abbey ruins beforecontinuing to Georgian Bath where we visit the Roman Baths. Then ascenic drive through the Cotswolds countryside brings us toStratford-upon-Avon where we visit Shakespeare''s birthplace and seeAnne Hathaway''s cottage. (Full breakfast) Hotel: Falcon Hotel

Day 6 - Stratford - Chester - Liverpool
This morning we head north to Chester where our Tour Director showsus the ancient city walls, the black and white Tudor Rows and aHidden Treasure before continuing to our hotel in Liverpool. (Fullbreakfast)Hotel: Jurys Inn

Day 7 - Liverpool - Lake District - York
We drive to the English Lake District. Then across the YorkshireDales to York and a walking tour to visit the Shambles, see theMansion House, Stonegate and Petergate, and, of course, themagnificent York Minster. Later we enjoy a Farewell Dinner togetherwith our Tour Director and fellow travelers. (Full breakfast /Farewell dinner) Hotel: Holiday Inn

Day 8 - York - Sherwood Forest - London (2 nights)
This morning we pass by the area of Sherwood Forest, associatedwith the legendary hero, Robin Hood. Then on to the university cityof Cambridge where we will see the architecture of King''s CollegeChapel. We are back in London by the early evening as our tourcomes to an end.
