Day 3 - Vienna sightseeing & at leisure
Our guided tour features the monuments and palaces of this musicalcity. The Imperial Boulevards lead us to the Opera House, theHofburg Palace, the Parliament and St. Stephen''s Cathedral. Ourwalking tour takes us into the oldest parts of the city. Thisevening we enjoy a Highlight Dinner with wine together in a localrestaurant. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight dinner)

Day 4 - Vienna Woods excursion
Our local expert takes us on a scenic drive into the nearby ViennaWoods where we stop to see Mayerling and the hunting lodge whereCrown Prince Rudolph and his young mistress died in 1898. We alsostop at Heiligenkreuz to visit the Abbey of the Holy Cross. (Buffetbreakfast)

Day 5 - Vienna - Salzkammergut - Salzburg
We drive along the Valley of the River Danube past Melk where wesee Austria''s greatest baroque monastery. Then we continue alongthe Danube Valley to the area known as the Salzkammergut. AtGmunden, with its beautiful Lake Château, we enjoy a tranquiland scenic drive along the shores of the Traunsee and Attersee, thelargest lake in the Austrian Alps, to the Mondsee. We stop in thevillage to see the church where the marriage of Captain Von Trappand Maria was filmed for TheSound of Music. Finally we reach the sugar-icing city ofSalzburg where our guided walk shows us the Getreidgasse with itscolourful shops, the majestic cathedral and many of the locationsused in the film of The Sound of Music, as well as the birthplaceof the great composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Day 6 - Salzburg - Berchtesgaden - Innsbruck - Oberammergau (2nights)
We drive north from Innsbruck to Bavariain Germany and thebeautiful region of Oberammergau, where we have dinner in our hoteltonight. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 7 - Passion Play performance
After breakfast there is time at leisure followed by lunch at alocal restaurant. The Passion Play begins at 2.30pm and runs until5pm when there is a dinner break. The play resumes at 8pm andfinishes at 10.30pm when you are transferred back to your hotelaccommodation. (Buffet breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Day 8 - Oberammergau - Neuschwanstein - Munich (2 nights)
After breakfast we rejoin our Trafalgar coach and continue on tovisit Neuschwanstein Castle. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 9 - Munich orientation & at leisure
Today our morning orientation tour will show us theHofbräuhaus, the Marienplatz with its Glockenspiel, and themajestic opera house. Time at leisure, then this evening we enjoy aFarewell Dinner together with our Tour Director. (Buffet breakfast/ Farewell Dinner)

Day 10 - Munich - USA
This morning time to bid farewell to new-found friends and our TourDirector as our memorable tour of Austria and Germany comes to anend. (Buffet breakfast)
